KARIBIA has been awarded the 2025 Joaquim Bonal Prize , awarded by the Academy of Medical Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, for our project "Reducing maternal and infant mortality in Kigoma (Tanzania): incubators and safe blood."
This award recognizes the international health cooperation we carry out in one of the most needy regions in sub-Saharan Africa.
"KARIBIA is covered by Law 49/2002 on the tax regime for non-profit entities and tax incentives for patronage, as it is recognized as a Non-Governmental Development Organization (NGDO) by the AECID and the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD)."
